Renovation, Planning, and Design of a Private House,Tel Aviv
The process with the clients began as early as the property search stage, following a detailed program tailored to the clients' needs. The house is home to six people of different ages with varying needs
The property is an old Tel Aviv house built in the 1960s in the Neot Afeka neighborhood of Tel Aviv.
The house was very dark, with enclosed spaces and ceilings of varying heights and angles
The work process included demolishing and building spaces tailored to the family's needs, creating separate and functional areas. A floor was built for boys, another for girls, and of course, a master suite floor. The kitchen opens towards the entrance, allowing for a spacious work and dining area
The windows and doors leading to the courtyard were widened to allow natural light to flood the house throughout the day
The yard was excavated to create an additional courtyard for the children, accessible from the rooms as much as possible
The use of modern materials and the black-white color scheme, combined with wood, blends perfectly between cleanliness and minimalism with warmth and functionality
